Welcome! I’m excited to know that you wanted to learn more about me. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, as the youngest of five children in a loving, hardworking family. My parents instilled in me the values of determination and hard work; as well as the importance of getting an education. However, when I became a single parent working a full time and a part time job (or 2), finishing my degree was a major challenge and not the most important thing in my life at that time. However, once I started to really understand how having more knowledge could change my life, I dug deep and was successful at earning my Bachelor of Business Administration in 2005, 22 years after graduating high school. Once I was in the groove I didn’t stop there. I became addicted to learning and knowledge. 

I have been continuously enrolled in some sort of training classes or collegiate courses since that time. My experience and knowledge has allowed me to develop the skill of knowledge curation. This is my gift that I give back to my community and how Helping Hands Consulting Service, LLC was born.

I started this business from a passion for helping people and wanting to make a positive impact on my community. I have spent many hours in conversations with people who for one reason or another didn’t believe they could achieve their goal to improve the quality of their lives; yet some had not even tried.  Some wanted to advance in their careers, others wanted to start a business, and even experienced business owners I talked to doubted their ability to scale and grow either out of fear or because they really didn’t know how. I started to think, how many people don’t even try because they don’t think they can or don’t know where to start?

I have over 35 years of comprehensive and diverse operations experience. My knowledge and experiences  have equipped me with unique insights and expertise that others can benefit from, and I’m eager to share. I understand the challenges of navigating the twist and turns of life and business, but I also know the transformative power of personal growth and knowledge on a persons life. I wish I had someone to help me figure it all out when I was struggling to get ahead and didn’t know where to start. My goal is to be that person for my community.
